LIONS YEPPOON TROPICAL PINEFEST. 

Yeppoon and Central Queensland celebrates the Yeppoon Lions’ Tropical Pinefest in Yeppoon from Friday, 12th October to Sunday, 14th October 2018

The Yeppoon Day Night Pharmacy Pinefest Ambassador Quest Ball will be held under the stars at Tropical Pines, 32 Pineapple Drive  and will begin the weekend of Pinefest festivities. The celebration will start from 6.30pm to 11.30pm on Friday, 12th October.

Saturday 13th October will see the TripleM B Team broadcasting live from the Yeppoon Lagoon along with some of our favourite football stars participating in a pineapple tossing competition. Saturday brings the Chris Warren Homes free family movie night presented by CQ Markets and Events.

Sunday, 14th October sees the Yeppoon Lions’ Pinefest Beach Carnivale on the Yeppoon Foreshore from 9:00am to 8.00pm. The day is packed with spectacular events including; the JRT family stage program, markets stalls, rides, and the traditional The Real Group Grand Pinefest Street Parade which will muster at Yeppoon Railway Station at 8.30 am and do the main street loop down James Street at 10:45am. Preceding the street parade will the the CQ Waste Running with the Bulls at 10am.

Call on your artistic streak and join in the fun of the Alley Way Art Battle 11.30am. Register at For Arts Sake Gallery, 8 Normanby Street or on the day. Adults and children welcome are welcome to join in. Cash and prizes to be won

The Keppel Bay Sailing Club Fireworks Spectacular will take place on the beachfront at 7.30pm.

The theme for THE 2018 YEPPOON LIONS’ Tropical Pinefest is “PINEFEST PIRATES”

 

SERVING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY

The Yeppoon Lions Club is committed to raising funds for distribution to local charities and institutions in need, including disadvantaged people with disabilities and special needs. They also raise funds for National charities, Medical Research Foundations approved by Lions Australia and Natural Disasters.

The Club also provides community based activities such as The Yeppoon Lions Pine Fest and associated Ambassador Quest and The Lions Youth of the Year Quest, which helps develop the social skills and confidence of our local youth. The Club assists with the Great Australia Day Beach Party and runs monthly BBQ stalls at the Fig Tree Creek Markets on the 1st Sunday of each month.
